A Picture of Persistence and Priority
"A Picture of Persistence and Priority" | Mark 7:24-37
There are so many small events in the gospels that never make it to the big screen. We have our favorites....Jesus walking on water....healing the blind....or the Savior feeding the five thousand. Mixed into the latter part of Mark 7 we find two seemingly insignificant events. One is the Syro-Phoenician woman who persistently pleads for Jesus to liberate her demon-possessed daughter. Immediately following that transformation, we find a deaf and mute man who was brought to Jesus by his friends. Jesus healed him and he heard and spoke for the first time. Although they may not make the spiritual coloring books or headlines, these occasions continue to highlight Jesus as our Servant King! This week join us as we look at "A Picture of Persistence and Priority"!
