Sanctification in Christianity is what God does in us! It is the ongoing process by which the Holy Spirit sets believers apart from sin and transforms them to become more like Jesus Christ. It is a lifelong journey of growing in holiness and righteousness that follows justification (being declared righteous), characterized by a gradual, internal change in character, mind, and behavior.
