This week in Mark 3:31-35, Jesus redefines what it looks like to be in God's family. The priority of spiritual connection supersedes physical relationships. Also, Jesus spends time emphasizing that those who do God's will are considered his true family, no matter their biological relation to him. The challenge to prioritize obedience to God's commands even when it conflicts with earthly family expectations. Jesus makes it clear that even in the economy of His kingdom...."Family Matters"!
