"Finding God in Failure" | Mark 9:14-29

The mountain-top experience is over. The miraculous transfiguration seen earlier in Mark 9 has left the disciples in awe of Jesus, the Servant-King! Now they've come down the mountain and they're back to real life. The next place we find them is questioning themselves because of their inability to help the demon-possessed boy. These lessons in the midst of failure are meant to increase our need for Jesus, increase our faith, and humble us in prayer. They're quickly finding out how important it is, not only worship Jesus on the mountain-top, but also in "Finding God in Failure".
